SACRAMENTO, CA – Assemblymember Juan Carrillo has been appointed Chair of the Inland Empire Caucus for the 2026 Legislative Session, a leadership role that underscores his continued commitment to advocating for the Inland Empire and ensuring the region’s priorities are front and center in state policy discussions.
The Inland Empire encompassing Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, including the Victor Valley is one of California’s fastest-growing regions and faces unique challenges related to housing affordability, infrastructure, workforce development, and access to healthcare and education. As Chair, Assemblymember Carrillo will lead the caucus in advancing bipartisan solutions that reflect the diverse needs of Inland Empire communities.
“It’s an incredible honor to serve as Chair of the Inland Empire Caucus,” said Assemblymember Carrillo. “This region is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes both opportunity and responsibility. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to ensure the Inland Empire receives the resources, investment, and attention it deserves—particularly in the Victor Valley, where economic development and job creation remain top priorities.”
As Chair, Assemblymember Carrillo will collaborate with legislators across party lines to promote policies focused on sustainable growth, affordable housing, improved infrastructure, and expanded access to education and healthcare. His leadership will prioritize lifting up working families, strengthening the regional economy, and improving quality of life across the Inland Empire.
